Payments and Refunds Policy
Effective Date: 1st August, 2025
This Payments and Refunds Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments, billing, cancellations, chargebacks, and refunds relating to the services (“Services”) provided by AIEGS India Private Limited (“Company,” “we,” “us”) via www.aiegsindia.com and its associated applications.
This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions and must be read together with the Privacy Policy and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Policy.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Policy.
1. DEFINITIONS
All capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Laws include:
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended)
- The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
- The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
- The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- The Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007
- The Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Reserve Bank of India guidelines governing electronic payments
- Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017
2. PAYMENT TERMS
2.1. Fees and Pricing Transparency
- All fees, subscription charges, and applicable taxes are prominently disclosed at the time of purchase as required under Rule 4(3), Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
- Pricing is displayed in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of GST as applicable.
2.2. Payment Methods
- We accept credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and RBI-authorized payment gateways, in compliance with Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.
2.3. Authorization
- You warrant that you are legally authorized to use any payment method provided.
2.4. Recurring Payments
- For subscriptions, you consent to automatic renewal and recurring billing until cancellation.
- You may cancel renewal via your account dashboard as per Rule 6(3)(b), E-Commerce Rules, 2020.
2.5. Billing
- Tax invoices are issued electronically.
- You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information.
3. TAXES
3.1. Fees are exclusive of GST and applicable indirect taxes unless explicitly stated.
3.2. You remain responsible for payment of taxes under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
4. NON-PAYMENT
4.1. Failure to pay any due amount constitutes material breach under Section 73, Indian Contract Act, 1872.
4.2. We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access without prior notice,
- Initiate recovery proceedings or legal action.
5. REFUNDS
5.1. General Rule
- All payments are non-refundable, except as expressly provided herein or required under Applicable Law.
5.2. Eligible Refunds
- Duplicate charges caused by system error,
- Non-delivery of paid Services despite compliance,
- Refund mandated by final legal order (Consumer Protection Act, 2019).
5.3. Ineligible Refunds
- Partial use,
- Dissatisfaction with AI results,
- Failure to cancel renewal prior to billing date,
- Breach of Terms and Conditions.
5.4. Request Timeline
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days to info@aiegsindia.com, per Rule 4(5), E-Commerce Rules, 2020.
5.5. Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 15 business days to the original payment method, after deducting processing charges.
6. CANCELLATION
6.1. You may cancel subscriptions any time via your account dashboard.
6.2. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the billing cycle; no partial refunds apply.
6.3. No cancellation fees exceeding actual costs incurred shall be imposed (Rule 4(5)(c), E-Commerce Rules, 2020).
7. CHARGEBACKS
7.1. You agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting our Grievance Department.
7.2. Invalid chargebacks may result in:
- Suspension of Services,
- Recovery of original fees, costs, and legal expenses (Section 73, Indian Contract Act, 1872).
8. POLICY MODIFICATIONS
8.1. We reserve the right to revise this Policy as permitted by Rule 5(1), E-Commerce Rules, 2020.
8.2. Updates take effect prospectively and will be published on our website.

10. GOVERNING LAW
This Policy is governed by Indian law, and disputes shall be resolved per our Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Policy under Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with exclusive jurisdiction in Mumbai.
